Yes it's quite good to know someone going into uni. The English requirement seems daunting buy your English on here seems fine. Have you had to do a language proficiency test? I also know of many people who got a rejection from Warwick along with other unis. The fact that fees go up next year doesn't really help I guess. Your build up to uni sounds fun. Have you been to visit Warwick before?

Nah, I didn't have to take an English proficiency test because I do the IB Diploma and I take Higher Level A1 English (basically the highest english level possible). Although 50% of my grade is done, the exams are just daunting :/ But it should be okay. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to visit because I haven't even been to the UK yet! My dad, however, visited my London unis last year but that's about it. I have friends there though so I just stalk their albums from time to time haha
Let me know how it goes

Just received 2 unconditional offers for Biological Sciences or Medical Microbiology/Virology.
Anyone else applied for these?
Not sure which to take!

I've applied for biological sciences, it depends on what you want to do I guess - but I think biological sciences, there is a more varied course structure in the 2nd year; instead of doing mostly microbiology, you get a range of other options.

It doesn't matter either, because the first year modules are the same throughout and you could switch to Microbiology/Virology or (should ring and check) from Microbiology/Virology to Biological sciences.

Ah right - my school offers the IB so I can't help but be quite informed about it. The IB exams are very soon, aren't they? I wish mine would hurry up - last one is on 24th June. I went last year for a some 'law conference' there and liked it a lot.
I will do. If u want pictures of specific things or anything - just ask .
Yay guys, got a conditional offer from Warwick for Maths!

:holmes: Where is your STEP/AEA requirement (in your sig)?

Or is it because you are an international student??

Probably that.

Does that mean that international students don't have to give STEP for Warwick?
