1. Grow up.
2. Learn to spell.

OP: No it's not abnormal at all! I'm friends with loads of my teachers. At the end of the day they're human beings just like everyone else.

its slang.you wouldn't no as you're deprived of it by staying with too many teachers. you're beginning to sound like one as well scary!your suppose to be a student.

The pragmatics is and informal situation as sutdent to student, therefore my language will be less formal and sociable.

I would never be friends with my teacher.
Level of hierarchy at school contained a wide gap!
after school, why would it be any different.

Due to social norms?

just because they're not wearing their uniform.
if it was a case of friendship then fair enough.
But i no you got moreee going insideyour head.

Plus you asked the question. Asking advice. i gave you it. RUN AWAY LITTLE BOY!

I think you'll find you're the idiot, as you have just described irony, not juxtaposition...

EDIT: Reading back on this, your grammar is appauling. And you have the audacity to call me an idiot.

Because the gap in the 'level of hierarchy' is due to the teachers having a position of authority over the students. They would be expected to not get too close for various reasons. An example of this would be so that they can remain impartial should an issue arise with the student's lack of effort. This position of authority doesn't exist once you have left school, so there's no problem. That's why it's different.

One of my teachers at school was one of my friends, which was a bit difficult because we only could do things together during the holidays. I did not had any advantage out of that relationship becuase she used to mark me harder than the others in the course.

At university I need profs as my friends to get connections. In Germany you could only do a doctor´s degree if you have connections. That is why I use to be nice to my profs so that they are nice to me and that I will get the chance to dactorate soon. Additionally they are smart enough to lead good conversations, which is not always the case when I try to get in contactz with other students. They are either a bit stupid, childish or drunk after a long weekend of party time. I hate parties. I prefer good company or a book.
I have done it with about 4 of my high school teachers, nothing dodge, just friendlyness - it can be done x

Would you like to explain what you think juxtaposition means?

its like when two concepts that are quite far apart contrast with each other.
whereas oxymoron is close together. e.g living death, bittersweet. bla bla
something like that.

Did you learn to use correct punctuation and spelling?

Would you find it weird if you saw someone you used to go to school with having a drink/meal with one of your ex-teachers?

I ask this because I met up with one of my GCSE teachers about a fortnight ago and she's asked me if I'd like to go out again.

Even though I'm male, it would be nothing romantic, so I was just wondering if it's ok to be friends?

no i plan to meet up with teachers when i leave school  as long as you are 16+ its fine
