He went on a campaign of hatred against Islam, and has been pretty much crucial in inciting abuse against their population in The Netherlands.

He made the biggest load of bigoted crap ever to be put onto film format, which emphasized incorrect facts, events and views of the Islamic population. Fitna even had him banned from the UK for a while.

And it isn't just the ruling classes, either. Holland's working and middle class form equally steadfast support against him, the only reason he's gaining any momentum is because he keeps throwing out wrong facts from the PVV, VDD and CDA message boards.

If anything, its the Middle Class in Holland that forms his strongest support, and seen as there is no longer an "Upper class", I assume that's who you meant by "Ruling classes".

The man's a parasite. He's bring tensions to boiling point, and playing on the Liberal attitude of Holland so he can enjoy completely free speech. Yet contradicts himself by saying Islamic members of the community shouldn't share it.

Nick Griffin did far better on Question Time than anyone probaby ever expected him to.

Im sure that much of what he does is rooted in outrage and anger, which means that he is not acting in a way which is easily palatable for many. He seems to believe that only the strongest of responses is going to achieve the desired result.

When I refer to "ruling" classes, by the way, I am referring to the people who make the real decisions. ie those in charge of the flow of money. That is not necessarily the government.

He annoys me. Massively. The man doesn't see the damage he's doing. He's already fueled the anger within the Islamic population in Europe, and this will lead to bloodshed at some point.

Hell, Pim Fortuyn was assassinated for his extremism. He wasn't even assassinated by a Muslim, either; and Geert takes his influence directly from this guy.

I apologize for snapping; the man just annoys me to the pit of my stomach. I'm half Dutch, and last time I was over at my Dad's (who lives there) I found out he supported him. So... Problems followed.

No, governmant man Dimbleby and that awful black woman(who thought she was intelligent because she'd read a history book) TRIED to make him look an idiot but did not. Instead they made themselves look like a pair of sneering schoolyard bullies, who probably did a better job of promoting him than he ever could.

Im not Dutch and you clearly know more about the man and the politics than I do, but I was just trying to make a point.

Because he was given a chance to explain his views, we were shown how stupid some of those views are.

Ok yeah, some of his views were indeed ridiculous but I hated the way he was dealt with.

It was always going to be like that though.
Question Time can get quite childish / bullying at the best of times with the mainstream parties. And then when you introduce the BNP into it ...

To answer the OP for a minute. The problem with the far right is that:
1 - Their views / policies are just so stupid. ("Send them Back" - despite the fact they were born in this country so have nowhere to go backto).
2 - They always attract the violent nutters and the idiots.

The same can also be said for the far left though.
