Sex with flatmate, like eachother, now what?

I previously posted that thread. Since then, me and that guy had sex. He then got drunk and told me it could never happen again.

However, last night I went to a friends house and the guy got annoyed that i was with another guy. He said he was jealous, that he liked me and finds it impossible when he's with me because he wants me but is scared of ruining our friendship. Fair play, i like him too.

But then he said he'll never be the guy i want him to be, and he wont ever be the boyfriend i want. He told me he wants me to see him as an extremely close friend.

we both agree that friends with benefits doesn't work.

So where now? I like him alot and he has insinuated we will have sex again.

this is the exact same situation that two of my friends found themselves in.. the guy felt that because they had been extremely close before they had sex , and if they had got together and broke up, then it would just have turned messy and he felt that they would have lost their friendship. however in my opinion there seems to be alot more feelings invovled with you two, i say make the jump and tell him that if he doesnt think that a relationship is going to happen then no sex that way there is no confusion
