White Noise, The Awesomeness Of It

I suggest you give it a go at least :smile:

It helps with concentration and revision as it masks other sounds.
Obviously don't put it on too loud :smile:

I just tried this out today and was surprised at how quickly it got rid of a headache.

They sell machines that generate white noise, but these cost upwards of £30!
Apparently some people have headaches for years, then after sleeping listening to white noise, woke up without a headache.
A quick google search reveals so many pros.

Well, sorta.

If you put it on so it mask all other sound, lie in the bath cover your eyes with something you can sometimes hallucinate, ranging from just seeing colours, to patterns and even objects. Fun times, didn't work for me, but it did on one of my friends, and the phenomena has been reported on. I believe it's to do with sensory deprivation.

I have an mp3 of something similar. Don't know if it was placebo or anything, but it worked.
That rain video is just annoying. The sound of rain annoys me :pinch:
