Oh no, I meant that I just find the whole premise of Pokemon weird now. Full drunk was a one-off occurrence, I have since fitted my computer with a breathalyser to save the embarrassment.

I really enjoyed the tale of Eddie Dean, found it so involving. Then I didn't like the whole thing on the beach in between and didn't really want to invest in a completely new character (it doesn't feel particularly well connected) but it surprised me just how much I'm interested in Odetta's story (even though I kept getting angry every time she was referred to as schizophrenic). I'm just at the stage now where she's gone back to the beach.

The more I read the more I'm convinced you need a director who is capable of mastering many different genres. It should so be Peter Weir directing these films.

And yeah, I ordered them all the day before, got them all sitting in my room now. Along with a film book that came today.

I don't think it was a failure, we had a lot of competition on TV tonight and it was quite quickly put together. With a bit more planning and a little bit of spreading the link around some other threads () it could be successful.

I've never understood that. There's that popular misconception about schizophrenia but I would have thought King would have conducted some simple research into mental conditions and drawn up a distinction between that and multiple personality disorder/dissociative identity disorder.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mills, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.

Dale Barbara, Iraq vet and now a short-order cook, finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper owner Julia Shumway, a physician’s assistant at the hospital, a select-woman, and three brave kids.
