Other than Cambridge, UCL and Exeter...

They've only announced that they'd LIKE to have their fees at £9,000. Nothing is final till June I think, if I remember correctly.

Now that the caps have been lifted, Oxbridge will charge £40,000 per year and at least one 24 carot family heirloom. No exceptions.

From their site:

Any student not capable of producing an heirloom before the beginning of their first semester can apply to an ex-poly like the bloody commoner they are

This is what we get for voting in the Tories.

A carrot heirloom? Who are they trying to attract, bunnies?:lolwut:
Edit: On topic: other than the universities already mentioned, Liverpool Hope has been the only university so far to announce that they won't be charging the maximum fees rate.

I was seriously considering deferring, until i saw Exeter's prices....

Imperial College London stated that all of their courses will be 9k for 2012 entry.

No my dear, i mean carat, it is a term used when talking about Gold, rings, trinkets all must be provided from family's sending their child to Oxbridge. Only worthy students can come from families of such stature. This weeds out the 'undersirables' that were allowed to attend when the commoners chose a labour government *shudder*

Apparently. Plus if you aren't white you basically have no chance of getting in, but that's the case now....so.

Oh come on, you don't seriously believe that? That has everything to do with the number of ethnic minorities with the grades/ambition to go there, not Oxbridge itself. Non white people are minorities in this country so it makes sense that there is an even smaller group of non white people at the best universities in the country which are hard for most people of any race to get into. I'm sick of people playing the race card all the time, it drives me mad. We aren't victims. If you're good enough, regardless of your race, you'll get in. /rant

Nowhere did I say it is racist, and I am not saying that you are incorrect.
Can we keep this thread on topic please?

(i.e. about universities announcing their fees, not about anything else related to increased fees)

They have at Exeter. I've got the email to prove it. And the fact that it was all over the news.

You're both right...

Universities are announcing their intentions for 2012 fees, but fees over £6k have to be allowed by the Office of Fair Access (OFA) so they're not yet confirmed.

I watch the news everyday. However universities have to have the governments permision to charge over £6k, detailing their access provisions. Until these have been approved a universities fees cannot be confirmed.
