Few things really...
- Headmaster was fired for charging money for the ice-cream van to park on school grounds and then kept it for himself.
- Some kid bricked another kid in the head. Headmaster stood next to the puddle of blood and told everyone to move along.
- The usual teacher and pupil affair.
- Someone set off a firework and it burnt down my maths classroom (This was during the holidays so noone was there).
- Some kid wasn't best pleased with his teacher so took a dump in her desk drawer.

Anyway the year after I left, one of my teachers was convicted of pedophilia (I think because he had child porn but I'm not sure). I didn't believe the guy who told me for weeks until after a lot of other people said the same thing and an old friend who went to prison saw him there.

To be fair that's probably less harmful then the stuff our school tried to feed us...
Hmm, not alot of shameful things have happened in my school.
Let's see, there were rumors of a teacher sh*gging a student, but i think that was wishful thinking on the students part, the teacher was quite pretty.
Apart from the occasional sex tape they went around, my school was boring at times and dull.

Not really scandalous,more funny,a girl in my year 10 french class waited until the teacher went out the room and opened the windows at the back of the classroom(really big windows btw) took her desk and chair and threw it outside and set up her work on her desk outside.Her friend shut the window and the teacher came back in to find her waving at her through the window.Bizarre.

Lol, where to start?
We had a teacher who believed he was a werewolf and growled at the younger years as they walked through the corridors, one time he leapt up on the table and acted like a werewolf.
Another had a break down and flipped a table over in class and it nearly injured my friend.
Another kept putting his hand in his pocket and fumbling with himself at the front of the class, then a girl wrote a note saying we all knew he touched himself in our lessons and to stop it and left it on his desk. He never did it again.
A boy showed his friend an anti-Islam video on his phone or something, word got out and he and his mum was chased out of the school by a mob of Muslim boys who threatened to kill them.
Someone set up a facebook account for our headmaster and added a load of students, they had hilarious statuses though, but then the police were called in, anyone added as friends were questioned for identity theft and any teachers who were facebook friends with students were questioned. There was a woman who was like an assisant in the sixth form, she was a former student and basically ran the whole of year 12 and 13 and did everything for us to help. Since she was facebook friends with years worth of sixth formers she came under fire and quit due to the ungratefulness of the school considering the amount of work they put on her and then decide to investigate her, to this day she's very bitter about it.
Word spread around the school about one of the school bullies who admitted to having two abortions while we were all in year 10 (she admitted it to everyone to) and everyone hated her even more and called her a whore.
There was a boy who was bullied a lot who moved abroad, now he's become really fit and is the first student in our year to become a parent, there was a lot of buzz in sixth form about him.

The most dramatic to affect our year was what became referred to as "the purge" - when seven students in our year were all expelled for doing drugs, in year 10. Six of these were the most high profile characters in the year, four lads and two girls, and it changed the atmosphere of the year when they had gone. Those six would have made for an entertaining cast of Skins, they were all characters. I remember there being outrage at their 'unfair treatment' and made them out to be martyrs but, entertaining as some of them were, they couldn't really complain, they were caught with drugs on school premises. The one I felt sorry for was the seventh member, who had been a quiet studious kid in the earlier years and had just befriended one of these six and been introduced to rebellious activities, and sods law for him he got caught more or less straight away.
After they had been expelled, they achieved legendary status, and the four lads became studs. There were always stories about which girls from our year, or the year below, were involved with one of the lads from the "purge". One of them was this lad called Dunny, who dropped out of school and just worked in a pub when he hit 16, but during 6th form years, when anybody had a birthday or a night out, the social place to go was "Dunny's pub", just for the association with him. For the six troublemakers being expelled was a huge boost to their reputation and advanced their sexual opportunities considerably. The seventh lad, ended up with depression and in a terrible way, he was from a very middle class family and had brought shame on his parents.
Other headline stories from our school
The Head of English - an incredibly flamboyant 'silver fox' style older guy, who was the subject of multiple crushes from teenage girls despite him being 50+, ended up living out his fantasies with one of the students. Even though I was male I was gutted he was sacked because English GCSE classes with him were great fun, he was like a theatre director. I also remember this because his replacement was a very quiet young female supply teacher who got bullied mercilessly by some of the lads in our class, they ended up reducing her to tears.
In Year 11 a girl nearly died in hockey practice. She took a stray high stick full in the throat and it send her airway into spasm so she couldn't breathe properly, she ended up becoming unconscious and the PE teacher had to give her mouth to mouth. In the end an ambulance came and gave her an oxygen mask and she was ok. She recovered impressively quickly and was back in school the next day as if nothing had happened. The standard chat up line she received through 6th form involved "do you want some more mouth to mouth babes"
On the leavers' day for the year above us, a lad climbed up one of the buildings overlooking the school (not a school building) to paint a leavers message in giant letters, he got arrested and the school expelled him and didn't let him sit his exams lol.

Well, my class once had a acid fight in science. This was diluted hydrochloric acid so I guess it wasn't too bad. Also, someone had let off a firework in the toilet. A few people got expelled for bringing knives. Ongoing rivalry between my school and another school which resulted in a few deaths. That's everything I could think of although I'm pretty sure other things have happened.

We used to do that as well; in retrospect it was a ****ing retarded idea.
We also had a box of little rock-type things that exploded when you dropped them in water. We threw a whole load on this perspex bowl of water and it shattered and the exploding rock fragments knackered the new whiteboard & projector

Not much really, all I can think of is one of the teachers getting pregnant by a sixth former. Her husband worked in the school and her son was in year 7 at the time and now gets pretty bullied for it
