Fp1 Help Series Question

teacher gave me the jan 11 paper to try and there's a question on series that i'm struggling with (the part I can't do isn't really related to that topic area however).

Its part 8c, just not sure how to solve the cubic or maybe i'm just over thinking. Thaks for any help!

8c) If you continue the iteration in part (a) this will give the solitary real root.
So N will be the lowest integer greater than this root.

So am I working out the value of x3?? I got 45.8 so does that mean N is 45? or am I doing that completely wrong, I just dont understand why that would be what you have to do?? Sorry if i'm being a real pain.

You have a cubic graph passing through root 45.8.
The inequality is >0 so you're interested in the part above the y-axis. So the solution is N>45.8 hence N must be 46.
