Hardly.

The whole issue of US hypocrisy regarding torture and flagrant disregard for international law is part of the reason why so many groups take a dim view of the US (and by extension the "west").
It would also have paved the way for the possibility of escape, legal challenges, protests, diplomatic issues, etc.
Now that he's dead, he's dead, and that's that.

He's just said they've killed him and took his body. I doubt this will have much impact on terrorism though. Muslims hate the west and always will do.
