You just sub in the values, like so:
For x=3x=3
y=11(3)+3[br]y=36y=11(3)+3[br]y=36

For x=1/4x=-1/4
y=11(1/4)+3[br]y=2.75+3[br]y=1/4y=11(-1/4)+3[br]y=-2.75 +3[br]y=1/4
