just try and keep calm before you go in :smile:
as long as you know the poems and novels you've got well enough and know all your quotes you should be alright with that

but it all depends what the SQA throw at us this year, i really hope theyre gonna be nice with the questions :tongue:

As long as you know your non-fiction piece well then you should be fine. Make sure that you can talk about more than one theme in each :smile:

:rofl: REP!
I need a bit of help, I'm flicking through the book and I'm looking for one specific quote.

It's the extended metaphor of the tree within Duror, I'm looking for the quote about this tree having rooted or fallen over (not sure which it states.) once his mentality has completely deteriorated. Anyone have it while I look? I believe it occurs around the same time as the scene with Duror and the doll.

Chill your beans Martyna! Don't exaggerate so much :tongue:

I don't think I've ever been so nervous about an exam. :frown:

I agree, I feel the same :O I want an A badly.
You're adopting a very risky strategy in doing so. I know at least 2 people who have done this and failed. It's better to be safe than sorry :smile:
lol, I remember last year Highers said that their close reading was' soooo easy'. I did that paper, and I didn't find it easy.
Daddy by Sylvia Plath is very adaptable.

is it this one;
"What duror heard was a roaring within him, as if that tree of hatred and revulsion was being tossed by a gale"

on the same note, can anyone doing Cone gatherers help. I'm not sure of the analysis and meaning of the quote above. Thank you.
