Strand A: 26 19 9 20
Strand B: 19 26 20 9

It possibly was in a different order but this is the answer.

Yeah that's what I got

I put that the pesticide would mistake the small egg for a pest... and I genuinely thought that it made sense at the time.

I also thought that the DNA base pairing thing added up to 100, and pretty much realised my mistake when we got told to put our pens down. My brain melted.

Don't worry, I put something even more stupid - because the eggs are small, they will be large in number (:lolwut:) so they will get killed. And also, pests are small, and guess what? So are the goddamn eggs! :facepalm2:

My brain melted as well.

How do you know how much you need? Do you know what the ISA grade boundary was? :afraid:

I hope we did m8!

Using last years ISA boundaries, I need 121 :frown: 76 in bio1, 43 in ISA, 240/300 for an A D:

Why is it diagonal. :frown:

Because A on one strand must have the same % of T on the other, due to complimentary base pairing. Same for C and G.
It was diagonal because the number had to match the base pair, right?
We all think we do fine until we come on here.

exactly!!:frown:
dyu reckon I will lose a mark for not including the lymphatic system??... spoke purely about osmostic pressure at the venule end being greater than hydrostatic pressure which makes liquid move back into plasma by osmosis... I WAS SO TEMPTED TO JUST WRITE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM RIGHT AT THE END AS WELL! :P usually theres like 5 marking points and only 3 are required on questions like this so just wanted clarification

Complementary base pairs. A bases in one strand must have the same number of T bases in the other strand.
How did eveyone find bio 2 paper

Why is it diagonal. :frown:

If you have an A on one strand, there'll be a T on the other strand.
