I was lucky in that my head-teacher's next-door neighbour was a consultant at the local infirmary so he organised it for me... I would like to get a lot more this year in the hospital and GP. Basically, how do I go about doing it?


Contact hospitals - my local hospital had a page on their website about how to apply for work experience. Could be the same for GPs, write letters. I think there's probably a wiki on this...

my mum is 43, so if she was my mum, we could be going to med school together which would be strange

mine's a bit older but she got married at 31 :tongue: I'd totally hit on a 40yr old if she look the part...Meh! Lol
