Well 1st and foremost, vaccinations. E.g. BCG vaccine for TB - this is the most important.
EDIT: Ignore TB as it is caused by a bacterium. HPV vaccine is one example that is used to vaccinate against a virus.

Then there are anti-viral drugs, such as AZT which basically inhibit reverse transcriptase, so it is used to manage HIV infection.

That's basically it. Your immune system is the only other thing AFAIK.

what the hell, basically it??? , i have never heard of this, what is all this (ive only heard of BCG as its on my immuology card)???? do we need to know this stuff

I doubt it. Someone asked how we treat viruses, so I gave a response lol - vaccines and drugs.

same here, I can really cope with three hours of exams in one day!!! And then I have got a 2 hour exam on wed and a 1:30 hour exam on thursday. Why are they so narrowly spread -> that reminds me of wide spectrum antibiotic and narrow spectrum antibiotic lol.

Are you biology chemistry and maths aswell?

wt do u define biodiversity and genetic biodeversity?

Biodiviversity is the different number of species within a habitat, genetic biodiversity is the different number of genes within a certain population (allele frequency/gene pool)
