can someone please explain 7b on june 2010 - i got it correct up the point where the moles of h202 is 1.1725x10^-3 . but when it asks you to find the undiluted, isn't that the 25cm3 bit - so with that figure i have - i went straight on to calculate concentration LOL

so any1 here to help?
Only the CALCULATIONS will be relevant from the legacy papers. Alot of the questions will be similar to Jan11 from now onwards the examiners report says

Right change of plan. Looks like after today's disaster I'm going to need to get a B at least in this paper. Although I thought it was on Friday :emo: 1 and a bit days to revise :facepalm:

Also, does anyone have Januarys exam for this paper?

We balance oxygen with water so we put 3H20. Then we balance H with H+ so we need 6 H+.
Overall charge on LHS = (-)+(-)+(6+)= 4+
Overall charge on RHS is 0
To balance the charge we need to add 4- which comes from Br- so we add 4 more Br - making that 5Br-.
Then we balance the Br2 by making 3Br2

K= Rate / ((H2) x (NO)^2)

3.6x10^-2 / ( (1.2x10^-2) x (6x10^-3)^2) = 8.3x10^4

Has anyone got any revision notes they are kind enough to share? :smile:
Has anyone got a bunch of calculations for redox/finding out identities that they can share? They are fun :colondollar:
