I have offer from Exeter, Kingston, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, City, Coventry, Sussex and Brighton. Which one to choose?

Any suggestions...

If you like a good nightlife Kingston is wicked, I go there a lot to the oceana which is huge, its a wicked night out there, but... It isn't cheap.

I've been at Cov a year and nightlife in Cov is fine - there is always a night to go to. Kasbah is great Monday, Friday and Saturday, there are SU authorised nights at Blok on Tuesdays and Platinum on Wednesdays - all of these have unbelievably cheap drinks deals and are always busy. 54 ran good nights, but the building was rank. I have no idea what the new SU will be like, but as long as they keep up on the nights it should be good. 54 had Skint on a Tuesday where you could get drunk for £5, and then 50p fridays and Wednesday Platinum pre-drinks. There's also Careys on a Tuesday. And The Oak pub is always open until 4am. I personally think Kasbah is the best place to go though - they do loads of live music too as well as club nights.

It's worth finding the pages for Kasbah, Blok, and Vodka Kiss on FB

Thanks, and sadly I doubt the nights will be the same due to new legislation that the government is putting in place on alcohol, basically they are making alcohol more expensive, so skint tuesdays may definately be skint, but you might not be able to afford it...

Well, I went to an open day and chose, as I did an accomodation tour. The UNITE accomodation smelt really bad, there were extra costs and it seemed strict and kind of anti social. Trinity seemed the best in terms of social life, but its expensive and has added cost for internet, apollo hall was a trek and seemed bare dodge, and singer seemed decent, I've lived at a college(to do some ****ty course but I left to do A-levels) before and thought from what I'd experienced there Singer would be the best.

well thats good to hear :L its nice to know we chose the right one  but unfortantly i still havent heard from them about my accomodation, its taking the piss :frown:

Dont surpose anyone else has heard anything yet?

That'll be the same everywhere though. The fact the nights in Cov are good aren't purely down to the cheap drinks - the promoters put on good nights, so they're still going to be good. Anyway, you'll come to live by one phrase and one phrase only when it comes to drinking on nights out: pre-drinks.
although apollo house is further out from town, it is still only a 15 minute walk to uni and is near a few shops, also 2 clubs (blok and careys) which are pretty cheap and have student nights. Apollo is also the cheapest halls which means you'll have more money left over after rent for nights out! From the outside, it looks a bit ****ty but inside the kitchens are far better than other uni run halls and they get cleaned free of charge. Having a shared kitchen also means you get to socialise a lot more and will make friends much easier. Apollo is what you make it, the corridors are open so you'll constantly bump into people and make friends unlike places like liberty where you are confined. Also you cna bum around in other people's kitchens!

The Uni has both Rugby Union & League teams but Coventry itself has loads of local teams aswell. I know alot of the Union lads also play at Broadstreet RFC which is in Coventry but depends what level you want to play at. Coventry is big and has lots of different teams at various levels
