I've been messing with water tonight...I don't think these are too bad for a first attempt! :biggrin:

Wow, those are much better than my first attempt at water drops! What lens were you using? Really want a decent macro lens now :tongue:

I had about 50 crap ones amongst these too haha! I haven't got a macro lens either me dear! I am using macro filters at the moment (dead cheap). They do the trick...for now. They don't go as close to things as I would like though. Plus image quality isn't so good with them.

Check them out, they are cheap enough to buy whilst you save for a proper lens, also it will teach you how to use them properly before you get the real thing :smile:

Make sure you get the right lens size...I didn't get it right first time haha! So if yours is a 58mm lens get that size. Then just screw on to the end of your normal lens.

Although, here's a photo I got whilst walking the border collie (Rosie) today:

I know the quality looks terrible, that's because Photobox's gallery downgrades them a tad so that they can't be copied.. Order a print and you'll see the full res haha :wink:
