Most people have received their offers. How long ago did you apply?

Ageees.

I've sent away my deposit and lease agreement, but shouldn't we have something allocated to us by now? I have no dates of when to pay money unlike some previous posters..

My advice to BGP studioers: the closest and best friends you make at uni will often be the people you live with, and it can be surprisingly easy to drop off the radar when you have everything you need in your room. Make the extra effort!

Well that's just damn worrying, im a pretty social guy (asside from one or two domestic ocd's, hence the flat. Now slightly worried about being cut off from main uni life though...

Naah, don't worry about it, if you make the effort then it's no different to being in a catered hall. It only makes a difference if you're the sort of person who sometimes needs a bit of a push to get out there and socialise.

Thats quite reassuring, i just firgured that the only difference would being forced to cook together and being slightly larger distance between the rooms. Where were you?
Does anybody know how much the contents insurance covers? Does it cover laptops, mobile phones etc?

Single Study and I'll be studying Chemistry

Congratulations for everyone getting in and stuff :P

I honestly haven't taken the time to look at the accommodation despite me living 2 buses away, I assume it's the usual cooker/hob/grill/freezer/fridge/microwave/toaster thing going on?
Should I get some sort of welcome pack or something in the post? That would be nice

They say contents insurance is included in the package.. Does anyone have idea what this specifically entails. I would like to know as I'm considering buying separate contents insurance with Endsleigh. Secondly, are Ethernet cables supplied?
