FAIL I saw the message on twitter and then saw that I had one new email in the junk folder on my gmail account (didnt want to risk using a hotmail one). I got all excited thinking it was my room...spam email for viagra :frown: LOL
Not that that would help me anyway!

How funny, I hadn't even checked the thread beforehand! Just got my offer!! University Village, Ash, Single Ensuite! :woo: Move in on the 25th!
All we had to do was email with our name and student number to accept, right? Nothing else? I'm so excited!

The village is the way to go :yep:

Although Yew is a much better house to be in :hand:

Congrats :h:
I think this may take a while. It's still only on the "D"s and they go out alphabetically.

As I said before, not our best computer...

Thank you! I'm so so excited now!

Hey guys, just wondering for a friend who's coming to UEA this year - do you get any sort of confirmation back once you accept your room offer? He got his today and accepted but I think he's a little paranoid that he's gonna turn up in September and have no room all of a sudden :p:

No you don't :nah: Sure it will all be fine

If he's worrying that much, then get him to save his sent message somewhere else. That way if there is a problem, he can prove that the fault lies with UEA :yep:

I didn't think they did, but my memory is somewhat unreliable! Thanks though

Tell them not to worry. We don't reply to the email. With the amount we get it would end up as someones full time job!

I did think that! Poor sod is worrying about everything uni-related at the minute so there's one less thing at least!

Nobody has room numbers  They're allocated to you when you go pick up your key on move in day

You're in the village, in Courtyard A. That's all you need to know at the moment

Oh right cheers, I saw a room number mentioned briefly when I was scrolling down the previous page, having checked again it was some one saying they had stayed there last year.
Hi folks...got a few quick questions

Can you buy bedding stuff (sheets and duvets) when we get there? Not much of an issue really, its just I'm flying over so dont have a huge amount of room to take stuff over...

Also i've been told to arrive 16th September which seems a tad early? When does freshers week and all that start up?

Cheers

Hi, my surname begins with B and I have no emails

Are people picked in batches according to which type of room they are given or should everyone from A-D have recieved an email by now?

Hi guys, I just got my accommodation offer today - Nelsons Court, moving in on the 25th! Couldn't be happier! Hit me up if you're there too

I got Nelson Court as well! I'll be moving in on the 24th
Victory House! A bit confused though, as my offer says Ensuite Single but I thought the on campus ensuites were 'Ensuite Premium'... Either way though, I'm very happy to have accommodation and to not be in Mary Chapman Court (which I'm sure is lovely but wouldn't have suited me much)!

But yay! First Choice!

Thanks for the accommodation offer!

Also, I'm sorry to be a bother, but I've just accepted my offer and the email asks for my full name, which I gave. Could I PM you my details to check you have my response? My 6th form was always spelling my name wrong and the Connexions system was convinced I didn't exist as a result. I'm slightly paranoid about losing my room because my name as I've spelt it in my email doesn't compute with what's on the system... I know it's silly and you probably have it right from my UCAS application, but having to head to the exams office in High School because after five years, the school has spelled my name wrong when they entered me for GCSEs, I feel like I have to make sure...

Thanks for your time reading that ramble anyway!

in answer to the first part of your question, the ensuite single bit is referring to the fact its a single room and not a shared one
