Can someone tell me whether the rumors about rats and cockroaches are true please. Also if anyone has visited it - how did you find it?

It's difficult to know what to believe. I haven't visited, but I'll be moving there in a week. Mostly it's seems to be "I HEARD there's cockroaches/rats...", I haven't seen anyone say "There ARE cockroaches/rats, I lived there..." So basically it seems to be just rumours, people who HAVE stayed there or visited friends there seem to think it's a pretty good place.

Thanks for the replies

I opted for Derby & Rathbone because although i really want an ensuite which is right in the middle of the city; having to pay £127 weekly would mean i go way over my student loan and would have to rely on my parents to fund my social life lol.

But i hope you both have fun there; its seems like a fab place & it's location is great

am in block A, flat 045, no one else seems to be in block A..strange.

I'm in Block A =) x
I'm block A, flat 34 - already posted it on here probably but it wouldn't hurt to post again lol. I get the feeling block A is a no smoking block? Or an ensuite block? I might be wrong, but there does seem to be an awful lot more people in blocks D/E/F etc. Is anyone else moving in on Saturday? (Yes, yes, I know it's early.)
