I managed to gain 5kg in 1 and a half/2 months (however I lost it all after going to Reading Festival)

I did this through;

Hard training in the gym-push your self to the limit of what you're capable off
2 Protein shakes a day ( 1 straight after a workout and 1 30 mins/hour before going to sleep)
Eating large, high protein meals 4-6 times a day
Long sleeps

will weight gaining protein shakes help me achieve this together with muscle mass?

I'm 'seriously attempting it' when i first get to university this year. Got a diet plan of around 2800-3300 calories a day , my current weight etc shows my BMR is around 2200.

Coupled with a bit of light jogging & dumbbell work at 'home' until i've got like 2 months or less through my diet and gained enough weight and got used to the routine enough that i think i'll benefit most from the gym ;D

Does that make the most sense? Probably not. But in my eyes i'll do best going to the gym once i've actually got a bit of excess fat and got used to my routine, ratehr than push it all in at once.

I did 6 kilos in 2 months : D
I was eating loads of toasts with cheese
My brother cracked laughing when he heard that once i ate a whole bread while "snaking" and watching tv - so sad, but hey I was a student and had exams in 2 weeks lmao

And I was having a sugar bomb every time before going to the gym or doing muay thai
1 avocado, 1 banana, 3 spoons of sugar, 1 cup of milk and 3 spoons of honey

yeah...good times : D

I think the way I gained them was: eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and have toasties in between.
*sigh* - I am a girl and those 6 kilos in 3 months were a shocker lmao

5kg in a month is a stupid aim.

I've managed 1.5-2kg before - eat hard, train hard, then eat, train, eat...
