You named your plant Alistair?!?! As in wheelyjoe-Alistair? XD
Anyway, what plant is it?

Yeah I named it Alistair. I didn't name it after wheelyjoe though :ninja:, before he thinks I'm in love with him or something.

It's an aloe vera. I saw this awesome plant in my gran's house the other day and told her how cool I thought it looked. It had just had a couple of babies so she gave me one .

Was passing time on the Imperial Acc page, as you do, and came across this which was quite useful and answered a few of my questions. Thought it might help you.
so here it is:

Hope it helps
P.S takes a while to load as its a several page long PDF

I am thinking of using this company for my bedding and kitchen stuff..they deliver it to your hall.

It seems a good idea..
Has any already used it?

What do you think?

Any thought?

Thank you

I'm planning on using it too, but you should know that the 55 pound pack actually costs about 77 with VAT and delivery.

I had those items (minus the towells) and although it was nice to have it delivered to my hall before my arrival, I don't thing I'd get it again. The quality is pretty bad, especially the saucepans and frying pan. In the end I gave it all away at the end of the year, because it wasn't really worth storing it over the summer...

Slightly worried now - I'm coming by train, so this pack would be ideal. I have no room for bedding and utensils!

I'm coming by plane (woot internationals ) - vacuum packing your bedding is a good way forward; I did it with my duvet when I had to bring it back from boarding school to Malaysia (along with a lot more clothes XD)

Utensils...just join us internationals and get them in a hall trip from High Street Ken.

I came by plane so that's why I got it.
It's not like you can't use it all there's not much you can do wrong with cutlery and crockery. I just bought one decent saucepan and frying pan after a couple of weeks because the stuff started to seriously p... me of. Maybe just get the bedding and towells and buy the kitchen stuff there. You don't really need it on the first couple od days anyway, it's really easy to get free food then and if you really want some toast or whatever on the first day I'm sure someone would let you borrow their stuff. Imperial people are nice people usually (unless they don't talk at all, that is  )
