Great thread OP
I know this isnt very exciting at all and I know its kind of out of place here but Im going to post it anyway
For a Matt neutral, everyday eye look I uset the naked pallette (which on a side note, is one of the best purchases I've ever made make up-wise.)
Its very easy to do and perfect for everyday. I also think its great eye make up for when you want to wear a bold lip!
Just use the primer all over your lid and you dont need much of the urban decay one at all because a little goes along way.
Then pack the colour "naked" all over the lid.
Next, take some of the colour buck and concentrate it on the outer corner of your crease. I just place most of the colour from my brush there and then bring it up to the rest of my crease. I concentrate most of the colour on the outercorner of my crease so as it goes towards the inner corner it gets alot more subtle and there is just a hint of colour on the crease in the inner corner. I then use a brush (or even my finger when Im lazy lol) to blend out any harsh lines above the crease.
I then line my upper lash line as close to the lash line as I can and put a a teeny bit of the colour "virgin" under my browbone an in the tear duct area. For the day time I dont line my lower lash line as I have very black hair so for some reason when I wear alot of eyeliner it looks kind of goth-y (I think Im the only one who thinks this but still
)
I wore this to an interview the other day as it is a very polished/groomed and natural look.
I also use this as the base for alot of other looks.
I sometimes use either hustle or dark horse over buck in the very outercorner of my crease and lid. I will then add smog in the middle of the lid and blend that into the darkhorse/hustle. I blend it well so it creates a gradient effect. So...the naked is the base and in the inner third of the lid, blended into a bit of smog in the middle of the lid, blended into some dark horse/hustle in the outer corner, with buck in the crease. I also take some dark horse/hustle on the lower lash line. It creates a smokey eye appropriate for the evening.
Love this thread and love reading all the contributions! Its deffinitely inspired me to use more colour so when I get money Im gping to buy colourful eyeshadows.
P.s sorry for my crappy instructions girls!
