Are Offers AT LEAST as high as your predicted grades?

For example, if you applied to a Uni with AAB entry requirements with A*A*A predictions are they likely to give you an offer of AAB?

Also, if your predicted grades are slightly lower then the entry requirements is it still possible to get an offer?

Thanks

If their entry requirements are AAB, I think they will give you an offer of AAB (or possibly below) regardless of your predicted grades - they are very unlikely to raise their entry requirements if that's what you're asking.

And yes, it's possible (and not very rare at all) to get an offer if your predicted grades are lower than the entry requirements, although they'll most likely just give you the standard offer, rather than lowering it to match your predictions.
They're usually at or around their typical entry requirements, otherwise there'd be no point in an insurance choice.

And yes, it is possible although, as lawology says, they're not likely to lower the offer for you.

It would be AAB or whatever their standard offer is. Why would they punish you for doing better at AS and having better predictions?

Predicted grades are a bit irrelevant IMO. In 90% of cases why would they be any different to the AS grade?

"Typical Offers" are not 'Entry Requirements', they are what the university makes most commonly as an offer for that course. Some successful applicants may have an offer that is higher, some may have lower. There is no direct relation to your predicted grades (which are so often meaningless), they are based on the demand for places on that course versus the demand the university has for you.
