Yup. Referee sent it off at monday at 7:37am (Teacher came in early just to send my application off, I feel loved :colondollar:

). I've applied here, UEA, Leeds, Bradford and St George the latter two are back ups.

I've got an acknowledgement from UEA so far but UCAS hasn't finished processing my application.

Ahh have you applied to UEA foundation? so have i but havent heard anything :confused:

have you applied through A2L or just normally for Leeds? :smile:

Yeah UEA foundation. Well I am going to apply to Leeds via A2L but I haven't sent off the supplement sheets yet. Where else have you applied?

Ignore me, just checked my junk, my email from UEA was in there :colondollar:

haha. Same. Just Leeds, Southampton, UEA, + Nottingham. Think if you have all a's or something at GCSE you get rejected from Nottingham straight away, didnt know about that till after i'd applied but i would have left it blank anyway :tongue:

What are you predicted? :smile:

AAB. Apparently the teacher was suppose to look at my progress in the first month of school because in chemistry my prediction was A/B so if I was doing well my teachers would predict me an A if not a B so I give like a 110% achieving 95%+ in every homework and class test and I still get predicted a B. Then I found out somebody who got a C at AS got predicted a A, which really rubbed salt in the wound. What are you predicted?

A*BB. Same with me in Chemistry! I'm resitting Unit 1 and Unit 2 even though i got a B at As and my friend who got an E is predicted a B and another person I know managed to scrape a C, is resitting one module but it still predicted an A? some teachers definitely have their favourites haha!

A* in Psychology B's In Biology and Chemistry. No i applied to 4 but i'm thinking i will probably get a rejection straight away from nottingham as i applied for the foundation year and i heard something about you arent eligible if you have all A's and A*'s at GCSE. I applied to Leeds, Southampton, UEA and Nottingham left my 5th one clear :smile:

think it makes me less likely to get in to the foundation years tbh. your A2 predictions are better than mine so im guessing there more important as well. where is your first choice? :smile:

It brought a tear to my eye!!

And to reply - I hope that as a Nurse, I can inspire patients as much as I have inspired others ( I really want to specialise in Diabetes because I know that it is hard for patients to listen to doctors and nurses who have never really been in the same situations as themselves) So as difficult as my life has been (and trust me it's been a rough ride) and all the times I've been ill, the hospital admissions, the doctor appointments, the operations, everything, I want to use to help others and inspire patients and I want them to know that I'm not just nagging them without real understanding and good reasoning..

Again, I wish you the best of luck, hope that you follow your dreams and don't let anyone tell you that you are not good enough to do anything! :smile:

Leeds, hopefully it is the perfect distance from home, far enough to gain independence not too far so not too expensive to come home every now and then. What about you?

I just hope that they dont reject me before they get the access to leeds form and they actually take that into consideration because id probably get an outright rejection with my predicted grades. It looks like such a nice medical school and id love to have the chance to be able to do the 5 year course as well :smile:
