I went to Paris, thinking that seeing as I seem to be taking advanced higher French I'd better actually visit France. I stayed with a friend of my mum's who is French (and spoke only French to me), and made the disappointing discovery that
after 7 years of studying French I still can barely speak it. Had fun though.
Grrr, my physics teacher has scheduled a test for the day before the MAT. It's not an important test, but it's on everything we've done since June so I'd need to revise to do at all well, and there's no way I'm going to do any revision because I'll be too busy with MAT preparation. And if I do badly, I'll panic even more in the MAT the next day ("I can't even cope with a Physics AB test, how can I possibly manage an Oxford entrance exam..."
. There are two medicine applicants taking the BMAT in the class, so it affects 3/16 people, but she won't change it!
I may need to have a sudden and brief outbreak of 'flu next Tuesday.
