I'm in Scotland. Last year I did Maths, Physics, French, Gaidhlig, English and History. This year I do more Maths, Physics and History, and Biology and Chemistry.

Also, I saw on the side about you wanting to do research into language. Thats something Im interested in at the moment! Like, all the argument for whether theres a genetic code for grammar that humans have and how children pick up grammar without being taught it and all that kind of stuff, and how language evolved. I read a little about it in Genome :smile:

My friend learnt both italian and english from birth.

Biomedical Sciences, so I can do Neuroscience. It was a tie-up between that and experimental psychology. I figure I can just carry on teaching myself linguistic analysis, being as no Scottish uni does the subject.

I have stretched ears. They're only small (8mm). Small enough that my school doesn't know and they have a strict uniform policy. However, friends have expressed concern over it. I was just curious for people's opinions on the matter.
