Medicine 2012...(hopeful entrants) !!

ahhh well, its not like im having a whale of a time anyways.

2 out of my 4 choices have started giving out interviews, and i still havent heard anything :redface:

Tbh I wouldn't want an early interview, I'd prefer one mid nov-early dec :yep:

Erm... A BILLION!!

I jokes, but it certainly feels like it.. there are like at least 5 medical applicants in every one of my classes.. :tongue:

But its kinda nice as everyone is in it together and there are a lot of people who understand if you are stressing!!

But if I dont get any offers I dont think I'll like it as much as I'll be very jelly :colondollar:

It could be worse - I'm in my fourth year of a degree and everyone I know thinks I'm crazy for applying for another 5 years of study! :wink:

about 25 i think :smile:

almost everybody in my chem and bio classes are applying for med.

this really surprises me, i only know about 5 or 6 people applying for medicine, and at my school there's only two of us! (although at the beginning of year 12 there were significantly more...!)

well, my school's one of those schools where the thinking is:

good at science? MEDICINE MEDICINE MEDICINE

i completely know what its like to not have that kind of environment though because at my old school there was only 3 of us and they did their best to discourage us from applying.

do you find your teachers treat you differently?

Errr.... 5 altogether I think. There were more but they didn't get the grades. Sucks because some people would've make amazing doctors but they can't because they're not good enough at memorising mechanisms. :rolleyes:
