Lol, so what? You're hardly going to get into trouble for watching internet TV:lol:

Only an hour til it's up anyway though.

Ok seriously, why cant they have some cool powers. I dont know what Simon's is, but the rest have pretty lame ones - instead of rocket scientist, genius intellect?. Instead of changing sex, morphing into animals or anybody could have been better. Their previous powers were actually more cool.

I like Alisha's power. Kelly'll probs change power later on.

Curtis said it was the only power the guy had left...

Simon's I'm guessing is foresight (he saw that he would die if he tried that jump so didn't?)

Fav quote from the episode: "We were brunching, then it all kinda kicked off"

View so far: Not as good without Nathan but Kelly is pretty epic these season already. Plus I still love the Simon Alisha love :yep:
Was not bad at all but... I miss Nathan :cry2:
Can anyone get 4oD to load?

Yeah, the other guy was okay, but Nathan is irreplaceable.
I really like Misfits would be slightly better if they weren't superpowers though, I think that spoils it a bit.

Simon's and Alisha's powers are pretty good/useful (though you can't have been paying too much attention to not figure out Simon's, or at least take a good guess at it). Rudy's is, I assume, his original power, based on his personality (schizophrenic), as the other's first powers were.

Can you really imagine Kelly asking for a 'genius intellect'? It's more in her personality to walk in and say 'I wanna be a rocket scientist', shown more so by her lines in the episode ('Get off me you prick I'm a ****ing rocket scientist' being one of my favourite lines from the episode!)

As for Curtis, well what's the point in them all having 'cool' powers? This isn't Heroes or any typical superhero show. He explained why he has that power, and judging from the bits shown from episode 2, they've got a good story lined up based on his power, in true Misfits style. Plus morphing into animals has already been done, gorilla and werewolf pop into mind.

The others were one time characters so no point going into those. You're really missing the point of the show if this is your major complaint about it.

My thoughts: definitely approve of Rudy! At first I thought they were just trying to get his personality as close to Nathan's as possible, but he is actually quite different, with both personalities, whilst still keeping a lot of the humour Nathan would have provided.

I want to see what they do with Kelly's power, I hope they don't have her change it again, I think it'll be too much having too many changes, it would suggest they could just walk in and change their power whenever they like, to suit whatever they are doing at the time. I'm sure they'll have come up with some twist to actually make it useful for her.

What do people think the power the dealer is looking for is? My first thought was Nathan's immortality. But if it was sold to him by Nathan, then surely he would know where it would have gone after. My next theory is the probation worker - he's the longest living probation worker, there must be a reason for that, he must at least have a power (even if it isn't linked to what the dealer is looking for). But what could it be that is so great the dealer wants to get it? And how does he even know this power he is after exists?

And now I can go to bed satisfied that I am up to date.

Dealer wise, I think it's the power of bringing people back from the dead. He was looking at a photo of him and a girl, clip from next episode showed him laying flowers on a grave...

Its not a major complaint, more of a disappointment. Calm down
I missed the first 15 minutes of the show so thats why I didnt know what each person had.

I know the show is mainly about the humour and drama but having slightly improved powers wouldnt ruin that. I'm not saying they should be able to control fire or create earthquakes. But surely being able to change into different people would be an interesting but not too over the top power to have - and then Curtis could not have full control over this ability so can only change into a very small number of people. They can explain anything in true Misfits style.

Been there, done that - the psycho girl who was obsessed over Simon in the first episode last series had that.
Ahhh, I loved it! I'm so happy that it wasn't rubbish! Rudy is really good, the power is super interesting and definitely distracted me from missing Nathan too much! Simon and Alisha were super cute too, my fave line was probably 'They called me the Pussymeister'

Good spot. There was bound to be something I missed watching it at 2am.

Still leaves me wondering about the probation worker. I really like his character, I hope they don't kill him off like the others, at least not too soon anyway.

Maybe they will do something more with him, but personally I feel like he's just a normal guy with no power. I think they need the stabillity of keeping his character there in the background after the killing of the first two probation workers - it was a bit like 'oh no, not again' when they did kill him that time before Curtis fixed things, a hangover of the previous season. Maybe something will happen with his character this season... but if he'd've died last season at least, it would've been too much of the same story! I like that they've killed other people now, well Rudy did, but he's part of the gang now!

I don't know, that bit made me roll my eyes a bit. The whole oops they're dead, now lets bury them.. its just getting a bit old. I didn't really like Rudy that much.. but thats probably just because he's Nathan's replacement.

I thought it was the ultimate iniation into the gang! Obviously it's tongue in cheek, but hey.

:yep: I could be very wrong though :colondollar:

I hope they don't kill him off. I reckon if he did have a superpower based on personality it would be something like ability to doss off without getting fired.
I don't really like the Rudy/Alisha storyline.
It was alright, not the best episode but not the worst.

New powers are all **** except Simon's.

Rudy's two halves are a copy of the Nathan/Simon relationship from the early episodes (confident sex-mania & awkward self-hater), didn't hate it but not really a fan.

A bit disappointed, but we shall see.
