i'm an international applicant so they didn't ask for an essay. but i had to sit for a written test and TSA on the day after my interview. hope all of that went well :P

i've only sat for AS physics and A2 maths so far. best of luck to you too, it feels great to know someone in the same position :P


oo where are you applying from??
Applied to Sheffield and Cambridge for straight Economics, Warwick for Econ & Industrial Organisation, Edinburgh for Econ & Maths and LSE for Business Mathematics & Statistics (to then specialise in Economics)

GCSE: 2A*, 7A, 2B (Special Circumstances)
AS: AAA (Maths, Business Studies, Physics)
Predictions: A*A*Aaa (Maths, Business Studies, Physics, AS Further Maths, EPQ)

Averaged 90% UMS at AS, messed up with subject choices initially that's why I only have 3 for last year, and my school doesn't offer Economics so took Business Studies as an alternative and have self-studied Economics. All explained in Personal Statement and SAQ. Still waiting on offers/rejections so fingers crossed somewhere wants me! Good luck everyone!

good luck, i REALLY would like to go to LSE, wish i decided to apply for Maths and Econ instead of straight Economics! aah oh well just gotta ride it out until march!

Me too! It's my first choice without a doubt, I'm obsessed. Why's that, just because it's less competitive?

Mind me asking what your conditions are? :smile:

Mine is AA in Maths and Economics (including AA C3,C4) So I don't have to worry about my Chemistry :biggrin:

WOW, CONGRATULATIONS! :biggrin: You got a really low offer, reckon that's something to do with you coming from a low achieving school etc? I really need to get round to sending off my UCAS if they're giving out offers already :/

Yup! It's probably because of widening participation :yep:..you'll get an offer if I have one. No shadow of a doubt! And good luck!!

Thanks, though I'm not sure :/ My school has a really high level of attainment (grammar school) and my teachers all say Bristol seem to hate applications for Economics from our school (every year people getting offers from Cambridge/LSE/UCL etc but not Bristol). And now, of the 5 or so places there are for Econ w. SCE in Germany, you've taken one of them!

Haha ah thats not fair! Well..I probably shouldnt complain :tongue: and nice way of putting it xD academically you're ten times better than me so it'd be stupid for Bristol to reject you because of what school you attend...
