Official 2012 Biochemistry Applicants*

I thought I would start this thread to give us an indicator for applicants to see when and what offers are being sent and where people are applying.

So where are you applying? What are your Grades or perdicted grades?
What were your GCSE results? and also have you applied yet?

Yaaaay! Been looking forward to this thread .
I've already sent off my UCAS stuff!

Where I've applied: Cambridge, York, Bristol, Imperial and Bath in order of preference
IGCSEs: 8A* 4A
AS: AAAA (maths, chem, bio, econs)
A2 predictions: A*A*A*A*a
(taken up a compulsory critical thinking AS this year)
Also predicted A* for EPQ but doubt that's gonna happen!

Sheffield, York, Bath so far . Haven't decided about more yet.
Marks average 9.5/10 with 10/10 bio/chem
I hope I won't fail on my exams in spring...

Oxford, Bath, Imperial, Durham, York
GSCE: 8A*, 3A's
AS: AAAA (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics +A in general studies which doesn't really count...)
Predicted: A*A*A*A* - Although these are basically because the school gives anyone applying to Oxford lots of A* predictions, whether I get them is another matter !

I'm not thinking about any extra qualifications because world's changing very fast and I can't plan 3-4 years forward
