The rant is fine, no probs
At any rate, I'm sure that they'll be understanding that you didn't have that much about languages since you have got to apply to other places. And let's face it - maths is awesome!
If the worst comes to the worst, you still have offers from other places right?

Ahh good good  haha
Yeah that is true but for all they know i could be applying to 5 joint hons equal unis when im not and lancaster is the only one..... I dont even want to do it anymore!! Im considering switching it to single hons but if i go there i'll just switch at the end of first year i think......
Oh definately!!! Maths is very awesome!!
Yes that is very true its just lancaster is one of my favoutires.....its just a shame as i love the uni but not the course that much... :frown:

Yep, sent mine off  I wonder how they're going to regulate it? Surely anyone could just put straight 100s, and if Durham have the ability to check all of these, they would have got it direct in the first place...

Cambridge regulate this at the interview - King's College at least make you bring your results slips, then they pick a large sample and check its accuracy - but Durham don't really do interviews!

Nope, nothing for me but I'm doing Advanced highers but they still said that they would ask for my higher bands (gives a rough idea of percentage) e.g. A Band 1 is usually 85/90% + and A Band 2 70-85%.

Basically applying to all the same uni's as me bar one. Same college at Oxford too! What college did you apply for at Durham? I guess you are an international applicant since you sat O levels?

Interview at Robinson, Cambridge =O...only have 19 days to read on every bit of maths ever, and become the greatest in time for the interview. Challenge accepted.

Standard offer without FM is AAA, with FM it's AAB or A*BB, and I already have an A* in normal maths, just haven't cashed it in yet
