They ask for an IELTS score of 6.5 so you should be fine there. What other qualifications do you have from school?
Law is regarded as a difficult subject but that will be the same at any university. One difference with Northumbria is that they teach you the academic side of the Law with the practical side of being a solicitor/barrister, so depending on how you learn that may make it easier (if you learn by doing) or harder (if you learn by writing lots of essays).

The campus is on the edge of the city centre, when I went on open day it took me 15-20 minutes to walk from the Law building to the city centre, which isn't that much (particularly considering I wasn't exactly sure where I was going).
Newcastle is definately cheap for accomodation compared to other UK cities, as are other things. Generally the further North you go in the UK the cheaper living costs are.
Congrats, do you know if you will firm/insure it yet?
Not entirely sure yet cause I still have interviews etc to go to but it's definitely looking like it may be my firm I love the uni and the course they do, so I'm really pleased I got an offer . What have you applied for?

I applied for Law and have put Northumbria as my firm with Sunderland as insurance.
Oh dear, this was me last year. If you have any questions regarding the halls, I live in Manor Bank, been to Albion House, Glenamara, New Bridge Street, Camden Court, and Victoria Halls. Good luck with your applications!
Hi, I applied for the course Business & Management. I recently (about last week) got a conditional offer from Northumbria. Do you mind to share what is it like to study there? Perhaps the city (I heard its great btw), the lecturers, or the accommodation?
I'm currently a student at Northumbria and a Marketing Assistant in Marketing at the uni. It's a great uni to study at, lots of great facilities and specialised lecture halls and labs depending on what course you are doing. The Business School is rather new building wise, if I were you, I would attend an open day to get a feel for the place. The city is great, good for night life, culture, the arts, general socialising and shopping! Again I think visiting the city will help with you getting an idea of what it's like. The majority of accommodation is new, many with ensuites and close to the city centre (some pretty much on campus!) so you wouldn't have to worry about transport. If you check out http://www.northumbria.ac.uk/brochure/facilities/acc/ you will find out more about the accommodation we have to offer. You can find a lot of useful information on the website and there are lots of email links on the pages so you can get in touch about your specific needs if you have any. I hope this helps!

You forgot to mention that the city is home to the greatest football team of all time
