Rejected from University of Manchester BA Economics.

WTF?!

I have straight As at A-level, faced mitigating circumstances and I was still close to my targets of A*A*A*.

I would have one-year IB work experience in a top tier bank by the time I would start in Sept2012, further have one-month experience in accountancy.

a wide range of ECs and responsibilities held including voluntary work!

Further hold a Cert of Higher Ed from University of Manchester...not to mention my reference is from the university!

Depressed.

Manchester have been shown to reject some people they think are likely to get a better offer (don't know why).

Though I don't care about better universities, I just want to go to UoManchester....I have about 130ish friends there and people I've met. Still on my year-out I go clubbing with them on student nights etc...I've got a life there...I wouldn't want to go elsewhere.

I don't know if it's because I only achieved 49.5% in my 1st year on my Law degree which I disliked. They have to understand that this low score is due to my disenjoyment and lack of interest in Law, and that it was a wise move of leaving the university than carrying on. Ergh =/

Ah well that definitely makes a difference, I just assumed you were on a gap year or something, good luck and I hope it works out okay for you.
