So I've finally completed Kyoukai senjou no horizon. Wow what a load of *******s that was. How can you chuck in that many individuals and still have no memorable, funny or interesting characters?

All I can really recall is smug boy who wanted to get jiggy with a robot(?) emotionless robot girl and booby girl.

Looks like sequel bait is being set up, but I've wasted 13 episodes of my life on this ****e
 Was just having a look at my blog referrals as I was getting some traffic and 3 people got linked to my post on High School DxD with the search term: "High School DxD hentai" :rofl2:

LOL, looks like you'll probably be getting quite a reputation on wordpress as a hentai blogger rather than an anime blogger

Anyway, since I haven't picked up a lot of series this season, I'm gonna start picking up other series that I haven't picked last time. I started on Deadman Wonderland and will probably pick Guilty Crown after that.

About the weirdest search term I've had come up recently on mine was 'mirai nikki shirtless yuki'. Twice.

Wouldn't worry - half my unusual search engine referrals seem to be from people looking for yaoi of some description. Usually Shiki, Drrr!! or AoEx. People search for some random crap - I have no idea how half of them end up on my blog!

I have an anime blog (which shall remain unlinked to protect the guilty) and a noticeable proportion of every day's hits are from one image, posted years ago, which I jokingly miscaptioned as something it isn't; Google decided that it was a good image to promote near to the top of the image search results for the-thing-which-it-is-not. I suspect it's this sort of action by search engine algorithms which drives some of the odder traffic to anime blogs.

I hope not  I was really surprised by the nudity in High School DxD and I purposefully avoided putting any naked pics into my reviews because I didn't want a hentai blog :sigh:

Why do they come to you especially for yaoi? :beard:

I think its the wonders of google, they search for images, the one's we upload or are associated with the search terms then come up in results. So even if you don't have yaoi, if you mention it enough, your bog will pop onto google as a result. Algorithms...

Looks like A-P is going for bigger screenshots on their new entries like I'd assumed hoped, the size increase makes the new layout look alright... but do they plan on going back to do all the old ones? :hmmmm2:

I'm a BL fangirl and as such I have a few BL tags on some posts (mainly some Naruto manga posts & some Shiki ones). Tis inevitable I'll get some traffic that way even if I don't write about it exclusively.......plus among the aniblogosphere I'm active in, I'm pretty well known as a BL fan :giggle:

It was great to see Tsundere-chan back! Really enjoyed Nisemonogatari - definite keeper.
Is the Guilty Crown Kiseki: Reassortment worth the watch? Supposedly its a one-hour long recap of the first 11 episodes. This would be handy as people keep talking about it. It would also mean I could jump straight into the second half. However, if those 11 episodes are pretty good, I wouldn't want to miss out by condensing them into less than 1/10th their content.

I really can't, sorry! The guilty really do need protection.

Well, thank you  Its not as easy as I thought at first, I have a tendency to ramble off sometimes and I have to reign that in.

Haha, likewise. I have a tendency to go off on a tangent, especially in person, digressing constantly, so I have to keep reminding myself to remain succinct.

Well, even To Love-Ru supposedly has a detailed story, but just from watching a couple episodes (and promptly giving up) I could tell I have no desire to find out, as I doubt it would be anything that interesting  Certainly not as potentially interesting as other fresh anime. :nah:

Yeah, there is an underlying plot somewhere in To Love-Ru, just one that isn't worth the hassle of pursuing amid the bouts of ecchi. :giggle:

Oh I wasn't expecting it to rival gundam at all, but we do get those rare mecha gems every so often like RahXephon or Gurren Lagann. Perhaps I was just being naively optimistic.

Well, in fairness, Age isn't the best Gundam offering, so I'm sure you're not the only one that was hoping Lagrange would offer something better for us mecha fans.

Aha, yes, its so very obvious who the person in the mask was and who she likes. I mean, we could be wrong, but so far, all the signs indicate that was Nana and Nana obviously will be a big part of Kakeru's life/future. Meh, love triangle or not, I'm not looking to the romance as a main thing really. In the same way the romance in Ippo was nice, it wasn't a huge part of the anime. Then again, I've heard its a lot more prominent in the manga but I am consistently put off by even trying to start an almost 1000 chapter long series :sadnod:

You see, I'm the opposite; I would like to see more of an emphasis on the romance, and why I'm already comparing it with Adachi. In any case, 'tis early days...
Another just got released. :excited:

*will probably break down in despair if this show turns out to be rubbish*

I probably will as well, it is the only show of the season I have high hopes for

I'm hoping that Senki Zesshou Symphogear remains as awesome as its first episode, because its done a lot to raise my hopes about the season as a whole. The last thing I need now is for those hopes to be ruined. :p:

I haven't watched Symphogear as the synopsis kind of put me off it, I gave me the impression that it was just another of those animes with random stuff mixed together with no plot and fan service added just for the lulz. Although now I'm now a bit tempted to watch it since others liked it

---

I have just watched 'Another' and it seems that even though they're just setting the scene for more mystery (and horror hopefully), it did live up to my expectations. I just really, really hope now that it has the potential to surpass the likes of Higurashi

I couldn't understand the snapshot of dolls put in between the scenes though :s-smilie:

Smyphogear is the only show to surprise me so far - that first episode was awesome. Can completely see it crashing & burning though - but hope it won't.

On an unrelated note, I was asked to start participating in the weekly Anime Power Rankings, run by Desu Ex Machina last week. I've been following the rankings for a few months now and it's fascinating to see shows move up and down the list, especially since voting is only open to those ever critical creatures - Anibloggers. Nisemonogatari, Space Pirates & Symphogear are already proving popular, but we'll see how they fare next week against the returning Autumn season shows and the other new Winter season shows.

Mm. I'm not sure Symphogear is at all good, but it is interesting.

Caught Rinne no Lagrange and Aquarion Evol today. One of the two had surprisingly well-integrated CG work for its robots, and sadly it wasn't Aquarion Evol.
