I always watch the superbowl, and each year i realise i should learn the rules. I have no idea what I'm watching :P
They play for about 10 seconds and then stop.

They do that when there's change of posession.
That's one rule I've never completely understood...

It's a magical 10 seconds though...
I've watched the Superbowl for about 6 consecutive years now and still have little idea of this game. Need to learn the rules for next season.

They have other coaches dotted around the pitch to get a different view of whats going on and relay it back to the head coach so he can make decisions.

It's like watching a pantomime, every time a team advances; a player does a weird dance / celebration to wind up the crowd
