Do most people's parents pay for their university education or do they generally take loans out and then pay them back later?

This is a general question to anyone who knows the answer. As usual, I'm clueless on the workings of others.

With the current fees. I don't think my parents could afford to pay for my university education!
I think most will go down the route of student loans/finance; paying the government back after earning.

What year are you in?

Well for students Barclays is the best....I opened up an account with them last year...really random timing as well..My parents didn't even knw lol till the letter came :/
If you invest your money you get interest added on top so that means you get more money....but my religion is against interest so that's why i go Barclays instead of HSBC

What??? Explain?

He means to say that you are not allowed to charge or be on the recieving end of interest. See also 'ursury' and the Arabic term 'riba'.
