Firstly, I'm pretty appalled at how the other officers didn't even attempt to go to their colleagues assistance. They ran away like cowards. That for me is unforgivable. IN that situation, yea, I'd be crap scared, I have a phobia of dogs, but when you see someone in a situation like that, especially one of your colleagues, its clear that they had the power to help him but they didn't.
I'm also disgusted at the guy in the grey tops reaction, I'm assuming he is the owner. If I had the power, I'd lock him away for 10 years. He didn't do anything to help the officer. NOTHING. If that was a small child, that dog could have killed. He just gave a few half hearted slaps to the dog and nothing more. He was probably the only person involved who could have saved the officers involved.
And to that guy screaming thats cruel towards the end. Seriously, WTF. 4-5 people nearly died and he's thinking about animal cruelty. If that was his daughter, mother, father or son involved he'd want that dog hang drawn and quartered and the owner subjected to capital punishment.
This is why the UK should seriously tighten up legislation in regards to dogs. In 99% of cases, dogs are extremely friendly and helpful creatures. However, when they fall into the wrong hands they can be deadly weapons, and that is why they shouldn't be allowed to fall into the hands of wrong people.
Absoloutley disgusted
