I lived in Chancellors (was my first choice) and all the en-suite ones are practically the same. Chancellors has just been done up this year too
It's all very nice tbh, rooms are a decent size, kitchen/living area is great for socialising. They'll only be as nice as you, the incumbents, take care of them though
In the first semester I remember the kitchen area being a bit uninhabitable due to the mess, but we were better at that as the year went on.
What a location it is too: 5 minutes from Aldi (best/cheapest place to shop), barely 10 minutes from the Union, and about 15 minutes max from Sauchiehall Street.
Also means you can wake up at 8 55am and still make your 9am lecture
I made that into an art form last year
I live out now in Partick over in the West End and miss the convenience that the location brought.
The only downside is to expect a couple of times to have fire alarms at Stupid O'clock at night. This usually dies down throughout the year though, and the uni has cracked down on it as the fire brigade were getting a bit pissed at it.
But, aye great place to live, I kinda miss it tbh
