Oh, I got a taxi back home with two female friends, and the taxi man was all "I won't charge you normal rates, I'll knock some off for you guys... You'll all get change from a tenner, so everyone just give £10 to the person who'll get out of the taxi last, and they'll give you the change some other time."

I was the last one out.

The fare was £31, and he said "Okay mate, how about we just call it £30"

THAT LEAVES ME WITH NO CHANGE... YOU SAID IT WOULD BE LESS THAN £10 EACH :cry2:

This is what happens when a promise is made by a taxi driver when two very attractive women are in the car, and those two women then get out of the car and leave him with me.

Indeed it does taste better when egg shaped. I envy the drunkenness, all my mates have left Newcastle so i've spent tonight soberly reading and watching TV. On the up side I have the house to myself so I can leave the dishes as long as I want until I can be bothered to clean them. :biggrin:

What does TC mean btw?

P.s. Sorry for butting in on all your conversations. I'm bored, lonely and new. The only way I can think of to make friends is by being chatty and talking to people ha.

Out of curiosity, what's your ratio of index:ring finger?

Having measured it, I'd say mine is near enough 1:1.

Mine's about .9278:1 (ring definitely longer)

My ring fingers are noticeably longer. I can't remember my ratio, but as I recall it's up at the 'super-manly' end of the scale.

I actually did a small study involving this for A level psychology. I think it was called 'A study to investigate the relationship between digit span ratio and ability in a visuo-spatial task', or AStItRbDSRaAiaVST for short. It wasn't hugely scientific, of course, but there was a positive correlation between the two (ability in visuo-spatial tasks having been shown to be related to 'male brains').

In layman's terms, it's thought that women tend to have index and ring fingers of about equal length, whereas men have longer ring fingers, due to different exposure to oestrogen and androgens (such as testosterone) in the womb. Several studies have shown links between this ratio and certain behaviours usually attributed to one or other gender, and it's been suggested that gay men might tend to have a 2D:4D ratio more similar to the typical female, and lesbians might have a ratio more similar to the typical male.

I think I remember a situation in year 8 when me and my English teacher became quite "close" (but obviously we couldn't do anything) There was the time when she did catch me watching porn (yes I know in school :sigh:

) but rather then make a big thing out of it, she gave me one of her personal detentions (which I rather enjoyed). If I was a bit older, then something might have happened, but she then left the following year and I was slightly upset :sad:

(She got engaged and is now married, probably off having beautiful children). Now coming to uni and there have been 2 scenarios where I have had massive crushes on the people who teach me :love:

(my calculus lecturer, she's half Japanese and half German and for some reason I find her hot! ) and the other was my calculus tutor from last semester, who when I heard she was not teaching me boy was I annoyed :grumble:
