Biomedical Science Visit Day Bradford University

Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows...

Next Saturday i'm attending a Visit Day to Bradford University, for Biomedical Science. I've always thought it was an interview, but i've actually only just properly read the letter and i've realised that it says that they want to also meet me individually, but it doesn't really indicate that i'll be having an interview

Does anyone know if the Visit Day involves an interview? And if not will there be one eventually?

Thaaaanks

I opted for the visit day on february 3rd because ive got exams on the 26th, 27th and 29th jan, so I'm spending this weekend revising my arse off.

If you look on the programme it says interviews for group a and group b (dont have a clue what they mean by that) and than in the letter as you said they say its an oppurtunity to meet us individually. So which one is it? group interviews or individual interviews?

Also how are we meant to prepare for the interview? my reason for applying for biomed sci is for it to give me a platform to get me in to medicine if my application for med is rejected this year. is it wise to talk about this?

my exams have only just begun, i've got the majority of them next week  what subjects are yours in?

i emailed them asking for some details about the interview and they sent me a reply saying that its an informal interview, it's one-to-one (so not as intimidating as medicine then!) and the staff are very friendly and understanding. let me know how it goes!

Weell they showed us around the buildings and stuff and we got the chance to ask loads of questions and stuff and we indeed had a one to one with a teacher... I had a Scottish woman... She was nice and stuff but i personally thought the interview didn't go very well for me...! So yeah i'm quite scared...

Hey what did they ask you during the interview? Is it an informal interview? I might see you there this September - hoping to transfer for the second year of the Biomedical Science course

Its a pretty informal interview! Basically if you've been offered an interview you've defo got a place! They don't ask any interviewy questions lol!

Hey thanks for your reply. I read from your post that you're hoping to transfer to Bradford - did you get an interview? What's your conditional offer?

How are you transferring into second year? Have you already done 1st year?
Ahh I might see you, but then again I might not cos I'm just finishing second year and I'm about to do a placement year from September for a year before I do my final year... Ahh scary tiimes

that ease me up then! I was properly preparing for it but I have a few questions in my bag though.

Well I am currently studying Biology at Bolton and I want to specialise to do biomed and the course at Bolton don't let me do that until the final year. Yeah, I think I misread your post - but good luck with the placement! I wanna apply for one too
