If there's anything you want to know, then you're welcome to ask. But I would have thought that the Turkish Cypriot flag would have been as easy to recognise as the moon in the sky.
I believe the crescent (and the star) are symbols used by a multitude of peoples including the Turks, Greeks, Mughals and even as far back as the Sassanids.
