amount of substance containing many particles as there are carbon atoms in exactly 12g of a carbon-12 atom

better wording would be "in exactly 12g of carbon-12 atoms" - otherwise doesn't really make sense :P

correct a.k.a avagadro's constant

6.02*10^23 of a molecule, always add the number or avagardo's constant

Define a mole.
As a bonus define relative atomic mass. 3 Marks
I did unit 1 in Jan (78/90 A ) so here's a unit 2 question:
Write the balanced structural equation for the complete oxidation of propan-1-ol using [O] to represent the oxidising reagent. What is the name of the oxidising reagent and the catalyst used?

me too i did the jan paper for chem but got a B 65/90
well done

-is the weighted mean mass of an atom of an element compared with 1/12th of the mass of carbon-12 atom .
- ch3ch2oh + 2(O) to give ch3ch2cooh

You missed off the +2H2o at the end, that's 2 marks lost. And also you forgot the second part it's acidified potassium dichromate. The catalyst is h2SO4.
got a question on unit 2 for me?
Explain the trends in ionisation energy and atomic radius across a period. (3 marks)

No idea - never learnt this.
