It definitely wasn't a bloody mary, it was some sort of elderflower and prosecco concoction. With a tomato in it.

LOL How adventurous! Can't say it sounds anything but disgusting :s

Have decided that I am going to make do with a damaged phone for the next couple of weeks. Then, my excess for my insurance will drop from £50 to £10 as it will be over six months since my last claim.

I'd invest in a proper case for the replacement. Have you ever heard of something called D3O? It's magical stuff. Take a look

Hello. Am I allowed to join in here?
How did you fix your sexuality?
I'm really uncertain about myself. I'm afraid of that kind of feelings I have, I know, that it sounds a bit stupid, but I don't know. It's hard. Sometimes I think I'm fighting against myself. And I don't wanna fight anymore. But I'm too afraid for stopping it.
I hope you got what I mean, even if my english is not the best. It would be nice, if someone answers.
Thank you for reading my stuff, Alina.

Welcome Alina!

Your English is pretty good actually!

I went into the whole discovery process with a very open mind. I realised that I was noticing guys a lot more than I did to start with, but I chose not to get myself worried about it. I take the view that I am what I am. There's nothing I can do to change that, so I accept it.

Know that you're awesome, whether you're gay, straight, bi, trans; whatever.

:hugs:

Hey  Course your allowed to join in here! You don't need to fight against anything, what you feel is what you feel  When I first started realising that I was attracted to guys I felt bad about it, pretty similar to you I guess but then I realised there is no point you can't choose who your attracted too. What you can do is be comfortable in yourself! Whatever you feel is normal and it's okay

True, but they don't protect the screen, which is my downfall!

Also, the other day I mentioned Tommy Bastow, the hot guy in the BT adverts (not the long haired ginger thing) being rather yummy. In fact, absolutely delicious!
Someone abandoned their frigging car on a level crossing. Meaning the trains are all now massively delayed, meaning I can't go to the dance class I've been looking forward to all day because seeing as I still have no job, I have to look to my hobbies for socialising and emotional fulfillment. I also have very limited money, which makes missing a non-refundable class even more annoying. ARGH. Why are some people so ****ing inconsiderate?!

So annoyed right now.
Oh, and it also turns out some people in this world are massive ****ing creepers who have no meaning to their lives, so they fill up their time pestering people they barely know and researching them on the Internet. Seriously, get a ****ing hobby, preferably one that doesn't make me want to PUNCH YOU IN THE MOUTH.

I'm so angry, even looking at pictures of cute puppies is just making me want to dropkick them.

The screen generally only dies because of blunt force to the casing and deceleration forces associated with it hitting a hard surface, not from direct damage to the screen itself. You could get a case with a flippy lid to protect the screen itself from direct assault?

Mmmm, true, TBH I think the screen is on its way out anyway. Sometimes the colours distort for a few seconds, but its very random. It can be fine for days then suddenly go haywire. So, if I mention it to the insurance company, I don't know how they would asses it.

The insurance company will only look at the physical damage, rather than a warranty fault, unfortunately. :frown:

I find shouting the C-bomb at the top of my voice until I run out of air, works quite well.

Hmmmm. The LCD was going before the screen was smashed anyway, but if it goes when they're checking it, I may be in trouble :frown:. I may just take the risk and see what happens (or if it does go, if they phone to verify, deny all knowledge ) Anyway, if it's irreparable, they're supposed to replace it!

Ahh, hang on... I think I've been a bit unclear here. If your insurance covers accidental damage, then you'll be able to claim - I was referring to a warranty repair/replace.

Yeah it's accidental damage/loss/theft insurance. My warranty is invalid now anyway as I've had the phone over a year.

Ahh you should be alright then
The ethic book I thought was stolen turned up today with the free replacement amazon sent.
I phoned them to say I had both and what to do and the commended me on there honesty.

I ****ing love amazon. Whenever I have had a problem they have instantly solved it and even when there was snow they got things here on time. They have their business model sorted.

N.B. I am not paid to advertise for amazon but if they feel like sending me a gift voucher...
