however Just checked out private accommodation which is turning out to be cheaper?! Might have to go there if I don't get my first choice..

Private accommodation is cheaper because generally they quote the rent without including all the bills for electricity, water, Internet, etc. It isn't that huge of a difference really, considering that you may not have as much of a student atmosphere in private accommodation than you'd have at either Endcliffe or Ranmoor.

That being said, in case you end up finding a really comfortable and luxurious accommodation at the same price then it'd make up for the student atmosphere to a certain extent. :tongue:
