Congrats to everyone that got a place.
I didn't get a place but i'm on the reserve list for immunology.

I was just wondering what the chances are getting a place? I'm not putting too much hope into.
I'm absolutely gutted. I guess there is always next year!!!
apparently we can reply to the email and they'll let us know which number reserve we are. I have emailed but no reply yet. Also vascular are having to wait till next week..just to prolong my email refreshing every 5 minutes a bit longer!

if you phone or email them with questions or asking for confirmation of acceptance or where you are on your reserve list they are really helpful  the two current STP candidates in my lab were both on the reserve list so I wouldn't lose hope. Everyone (except vascular) should have heard by now - of you haven't get in touch with the NHS graduate management scheme

Back at ya, where will you be?

I got Haematology and Transfusion Science at Coventry and Warwickshire. So excited to start in September. Congratulations on your post, Manchester is great!
Just accepted an offer for GI Physiology and Urodynamics at Salford Royal, which was my first choice!! Roll on September!
Hello, congratulations to all you who have been offered places. Is anyone an Inservice candidate and has heard the outcome of their interview? I am and haven’t heard anything yet. From reading the statement on the Facebook wall I thought that everyone, excluding vascular, have heard an outcome?

I'm really sorry to hear this. I'm sure you will be at a huge advantage next year as you now know what to expect. Good luck!

Do you have o contact number? the one the give out with the e-mail says the lines are now closed....
I sent my acceptance e-mail yesterday and didn't hear anything back...so being slightly paranoid I've just e-mailed again this morning asking for confirmation and have received a very lovely prompt reply...amongst other things it said:

'Your employing organisation will be in touch with you in due course about references, occupational health clearance, criminal record check (CRB), eligibility (right to work in UK) and evidence of the successful completion of all relevant qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to ask any detailed questions about your employment at this time.

You do not need to do anything else at this stage.'

Hope this is of help to others.

Thanks Libby, I'm after the bits before the essay questions. Like the yes or no ones, relevant jobs etc. I'm trying to decide who to list as referee(s)! If any one one has the entire form please let me know. Thanks

no we havent listed any. but I thot I should look at what experiences I but down so I can decide who best to choose as my referees. I got my application off milkround now tho so thanks ya'll
I've got a bit of updated info for some of you, as I've just been in contact with my employing organisation...it appears people who were successful at interview for their first choice locations have been informed (ie. with an offer if you were successful) and it now looks as if there will be a second round of e-mails going out offering placements to people on reserve lists for alternative locations for training....so all those who have been informed they are on a reserve list, do keep checking your e-mails as some of you may get an offer, but at a different location from your first choice!

Hi all,

I'm on the reserve list for Medical Physics, anybody else?
Does anyone know of anyone who was on a reserve list last year and got through?
I'm not too far from the top of the list, but really not expecting much!

Thanks N

Uhm... I whats your organisation if you don't mind me asking? I tried to contact mine (via switch board then HR)... no success! they even got me panicked by stating that there was nothing on their system indicating I had an offer  anyhow turns out the woman didnt even know anything about the STP (some weird trend with HR in southern trusts?) so figures.... NHS STP has since reassured me though... so phew!

O wow, who told you this? Is it for all of the specialisms? I may still be in for a chance then, but I'm not holding my breath. I think I’ll probably wait 2 weeks, after that it’s probably very unlikely anyone else will drop out etc.

Congrats on your offer, where is it and what for?

N ~
