Why does fingering hurt but sex doesn't?

Hi Guys,
Wondering if you could help me. Been having sex recently with my first sexual partner and I get no pain whatsoever from that. But when I am fingered by him, it hurts and afterwards when I go to the loo it really stings. What's going on??? Its really getting me down. Thanks for your help in advance :smile: xx

I had the same problem before, maybe you are less turned on by fingering,
or else like me it was probably his nails and being too rough too quickly rather than building the atmosphere and waiting until I was more turned on..
I don't have the same problem with my current boyfriend infact I love it now, so I assume they were my reasons before lol

He's probably doing it wrong and aggravating you "down there"... if you don't like it, just tell him not to do it in future. :smile:

Yes, my guess is fingernails. If you were to wander into a lesbian bar, might notice that the women there had at least one hand with very, very short nails with no scratchy bits at all.

Fingers are also a lot more bony and prody than a penis. I can enjoy having a penis inside me, but fingers...? No, argh, stop...

The thing is is his fingernails are always cut short so I don't see that has a problem. Maybe he is going to rough too quickly and me not being turned on enough. I mean he goes down there straight away, no kissing or anything first.

Having anything up there with no lube is bound to hurt! Get him to use some lube on his fingers or at least build up to it a bit more.

I have this exact problem, sex feels fine but fingering hurts and afterwards going to the bathroom does really sting (or if we have sex immediately after then it stings a tiny bit while he goes in, but after that it's fine) :s-smilie:
I can't really understand why because his nails aren't long at all... although it could perhaps be that he does it too hard. If anyone has any other explanations I'd be glad to hear them :tongue:

You should never really be fingered hard. Fingers should do what fingers do best. Get into places, apply pressure, pinch, grip, rub. Fingers should not be used as a kind of penis.

The penis is much better suited for thrusting in and out and creating general friction. Also the penis has the the mass of an entire body weight behind it whilst fingers just have this annoying jabby motion.

Ive been fingered right hard before and it was gooooood!

But yeh OP i sometimes get sore from being fingered too. One day i was even sore the next day!! Just from fingering- but it was good at the time lol.

dont have an explanation for it....i dont let guys finger me if they have long nails- wayyyy turn off for me!

I can't see what the problem is really, its just technique. If I made a post discussing in the fitness forum on how my knees hurt when I squat I would fully expect a thread analysing technique. Why not have the same for sex?
