Did any of you get the new Flash update for Firefox today? It's using up way more RAM (829 MB, I have 3 YouTube videos open) than it did before, and this was meant to improve performance

    Get chrome
Hmm, I've used it on my sister's computer, and there was something I didn't like about it. I think it was the lack of buttons.

Once you get the correct settings, you can have all the necessary buttons such as home, back and forward.

What other buttons do you need?

I've tried Chrome several times, but until it has a sidebar for bookmarks and Firebug gets ported over (or the Webkit element inspector is actually made useful), I'm sticking with Firefox. :moon:

tbf I don't even have that many buttons any more, but I'll need a few more than that! I've always liked the choice of where to put my buttons, and lots of extensions, and I'm not sure how many of my current ones have counterparts in Chrome... could I have coloured/grouped tabs like in IE, for example?

Apart from these half-reasons, there was something I really didn't like about Chrome the last time I used, but I honestly can't remember what it was. The way it handles downloads, maybe? :dontknow:

trust me chrome has many extensions. You can gety a coloured/grouped tabs extension.

As for the bookmarks (speed dial 2) is very good!

Give chrome another try, I will tell you what plugins are best.

    It's amazing.

Chrome sucks ****, over-hyped piece of junk.

It's not even the lightest/quickest browser out there, something many of their advocates use in their arguments .

    Why **** and not punnanni?

Speed aside... The design and plugins are the best in relation to what other browsers offer.

Apparently I can now set up a Direct Debit payment with my domain registrar. That will make my once every 5 years domain renewal payment so much more convenient.

Do you think if there was a sky/VM/BT section it would be popular similarly to how cableforum and digital spy has?
