Hello again. Were you on here a lot last year? You can tell that I'm one of the lurking parents, but I did wonder what had happened to you as I felt you had a particularly hard time. I hope things worked out for you.

(My daughter had to resit but got 2 offers and managed the A in Jan so it worked out for her)

Hello Mother2
It's nice to know we have adult supervision at all times then (or is it? :zomg:)
I did have a hard time, and boy did it take me long to get there finally. But I did, so no complaining. I applied again and got two offers from Glasgow and Southampton this year and Southampton is where I am going because the weather is better. :colondollar:
I am really glad things worked out for your daughter; honestly, nothing makes me feel better than to see struggling applicants finally get their way.

Many congratulations. I'm very pleased for you and glad the persistence paid off. Soton was one of my daughter's offers, but she's chosen Leeds.

Good luck and I hope it's everything you've waited so
long for.

Hi! Do you remember me?!

I do! How have you been? Last I heard you were at UCL.
Original post by hawflo
I am, yes! Did you apply for medicine again? I've given up on medicine, which is annoying because I don't know what career route to take :frown:

I did indeed. Aww man, that's not good! You must give it another try, grad maybe?

Officially resigned from the hospital :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo:
Currently sunning it up in España ...just saying
I actually can't wait until September!!!
Already have my Littmann Classic SE II! :colone: complete with name engraving- a leaving gift from my department btw, I definitely wouldn't have bought one this early
Does anyone agree that buying one now would feel too pretentious? Or do we actually need one in 1st year?
